In their annual listing of top health technology hazards ECRI has listed ransomware as #6. Cybersecurity-related hazards have routinely made onto ECRI’s hazard list for the better part of a decade now.

As a major source of trusted information on risks, both physical and cyber, it would be nice to see healthcare facilities actively looking to improve their cybersecurity posture for medical technology based on ECRI’s guidance.
